Tim violin picture Tim began his studies at age four at the Preucil School of Music. He was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and then studied intensively with Movses Pogossian and Guillaume Sutre in Los Angeles, where he received a Bachelors of Music and a Master of Music. Currently, Tim is the violinist for the Trioka piano trio.

He received additional artistic motivation in master classes held by Ray Chen, Anne Akiko Meyers, and Jacques Israelievitch.

Tim furthered his training in Russia and New York. He obtained a certificate from theĀ Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia. He has attended the Summit Music Festival as a student of Aaron Rosand, one of the world’s leading teachers. In 2017 he attended the Juilliard teachers’ syposium for violin studies.

A prize winner at chamber music competitions, he has performed in San Jose, San Diego, and Carnegie Hall in New York. He has soloed with the San Francisco Korean Symphony, and played as 1st and 2nd violinist.

He dedicates his time now to learning, and sharing his love for music with his students (See Student Achievements).
